We Want YOU!

It’s well known that you get out of something (family, job, organization, church, hobby) proportional to what you put into it.  SAME has SO MUCH to offer you!  And even a small investment in volunteering your time can have force-multiplying benefits for you and your company. The Atlanta Post is an active chapter and we are reaching out to you for your help!

Take a moment to look at our mission from a personal and company perspective, and think of the satisfaction you will derive from supporting our worthwhile objectives:

  • Enhance Industry-Government Engagement
  • Producing STEM Professionals for the Nation
  • Developing Leaders and Professionals
  • Preparing Veterans for the A/E/C Industry
  • Building Resilience throughout the Country

The SAME Atlanta Post is looking for volunteers who are interested in serving on the following committees:

  • Programs (including 100-Year Celebration)
  • Membership
  • Communications (event announcements & surveys, social media, website content)
  • Scholarships
  • Assistant Secretary
  • Golf Tournament
  • Outreach (Support of Servicemembers and Veterans)
  • Small Business Conference
  • Resiliency
  • Georgia Tech Student Chapter
  • STEM Camps
  • Streamers
  • Young Members (under 40 socializers)

Board meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 10:30AM-12:00PM, typically in conjunction with a monthly program (virtual until further notice). If you would like more information about these committees and how we lead in our community, please contact Randall Bailey, Post VP, at: [email protected]
